Mindful Monday GOKI Readers, let me begin with a side note. For all you sports fans who may have read my post the other day concerning the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament and my pick to win the championship - Yes, I was right, UCONN has advanced to the final game and will play against Butler tonight.
I am happy that the men's team made it to the final, but saddened that the Lady Huskies fell last night against Notre Dame. Although the women have not made the final, they can still hold their heads high for all they have accomplished, in particular overtaking the longest win streak (Men's or Women's teams) held by the legendary UCLA Coach Wooden in its heydey of the 1970's. Well over 30 plus years have passed and we have to give credit where credit is due and thank our UCONN Women's Head Coach Geno Auriemma for has tremendous dedication to his players and his love of the game. With that said, the focus is on the men's team tonight and the hope for another national championship - Go UCONN!!
